Day 1: Scenic Drive to Bwindi via Cyanika Border

  • Pick-up in Kigali, cross into Uganda, and head to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
  • Evening relaxation with forest views.
  • Lodge: Mahogany Springs Lodge or similar.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

  • Hike through ancient forest for an unforgettable encounter with mountain gorillas.
  • Optional massage or forest walk in the afternoon.
  • Overnight in Bwindi.

Day 3: Batwa Cultural Trail & Transfer to Lake Mutanda

  • Engage with the Batwa community to learn about their forest traditions.
  • Transfer to Lake Mutanda, relax with canoe ride or lakefront sundowners.
  • Lodge: Chameleon Hill Lodge.

Day 4: Golden Monkeys & Mgahinga Hike

  • Head into Mgahinga National Park for golden monkey tracking.
  • Optional hike on the slopes of Mt. Gahinga.
  • Overnight at the lodge.

Day 5: Leisure & Return to Bwindi

  • Optional community visit or forest walk.
  • Drive back to Bwindi area for overnight stay.

Day 6: Return to Kigali & Departure

  • Transfer back to Kigali for your international flight. Optional lunch or shopping en route.
